5 Simple Ways To Have More Free Time

May 18, 2008 · Filed Under Success Theory, Time Management

Time is your most valuable resource, and it’s critical to know how to use it well. However, what I’m going to tell you here is a little bit different than what you might expect. You’ll soon notice that when I said simple ways, I wasn’t kidding. :)
So here we go:

1. Quit your job.

Now that will just free so much time for you, that you won’t even know what to do with it. You think I’m kidding? What can your job give you? You’ll probably say security, stability and the approval of society. The question you have to ask yourself is “Is it worth it?”.

2. Do what you want.

You want to play video games? Or maybe you want to party every night? Whatever it is, it’s fine to do it. You can always think of ways to earn money from your passion. There are no stupid jobs, there are only stupid people. Note: this is not exactly a timesaver, but it gives you more time to do your hobby.

3. Enjoy what you do.

If you can’t make a job out of your hobby, make a hobby out of your job. It’s not that different, but it’s well worth mentioning. Everything that you can be hired to do can become interesting for you. And even if it doesn’t, at least you’ll make your life easier until you find a job you like.

4. Get people to do your job.

It’s called being a businessman. If you source out, you’ll be able to do only the things you enjoy, and get the same job done. Hiring people who enjoy the things you hate, will make the end result better, and will give you the money to pay them. You’ll even earn a lot more than if you do everything by yourself.

5. Multitask.

That was just so unexpected, wasn’t it? But when you come to think about it, multitasking really helps. :)
Of course, you have to enjoy the things you do, but to make sure of that, choose a combination of the above. Then you’ll get into the flow – the state, where you can do complex things with ease, and without any stress.

If you felt it’s not that simple, then think again. :)
It is that simple, if you just let it be.
