“5 Reasons To Choose To Act Instead Of To React”
This is HUGE. People will tell you, that you have to act in order to get what you deserve, and they’ll be right. But many of them don’t understand (at least consciously) how beautiful it is to act. However, the choice is yours:
1. Action is towards a goal.
Reaction is to your reality.
If you don’t want to achieve your goals, keep reacting and breathing life into your current state of affairs. If you do want to achieve them, then start acting. So simple, so true!
2. Action comes from within.
Reaction comes externally.
All change happens from within. If you keep reacting, you’ll be no better than a computer program. It’s exactly what they do – reacting all the way. If you want things to change, as we said, that change must happen from within.
3. Action makes you an achiever.
Reaction makes you a failure.
When you decide to act, there will always be obstacles. (if you pay attention to them) People are afraid to act, and those same people wouldn’t want to see you act as well. And if you do, then they will be more than happy to see you fail. This all happens on a subconscious level. They don’t want to admit their weakness. So as with everything, surround yourself with people who act.
4. Action makes you a leader.
Reaction makes you a follower.
People need leaders desperately. But for some stupid reason, they are afraid to become one. The story repeats, and they don’t want you do be a leader too. There are even phrases like “a born leader”. As if acting is something you have, not something you do. It’s obvious, but people tend to become blind when they need it.
5. Action makes you different.
Reaction makes you part of the crowd.
For many people, including my relatives, being a part of the crowd is a good thing. It gives you a sense of acceptance. They never stopped to ask themselves why they need that acceptance. The reality of an individual is in most cases weaker than the one of the society as a whole. The important thing is that you don’t really need it. You need to have your own frequency, and this way you’ll soon attract people like you. Such people are what you really need in your life. These are not people, who you can cry with. These are the people, with whom you should form what Napoleon Hill called a “Mastermind”.
